The Indonesian government through the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Depag RI) dispatcher about 200,000 people of Indonesia to implement the hajj each year. Before conducting the hajj, hajj pilgrim candidates are expected to understand the procedure of hajj's implementation or manasik well and correctly. So the government give understanding through collective learning namely guidance hajj manasik that organized by Depag RI. In addition, hajj pilgrims candidates can also follow the guidance hajj manasik held by Kelompok Bimbingan Manasik Haji (KBIH) in the whole of Indonesia.<p>Learning methods that are less interactive and a few number of meetings often make potential difficulties for the hajj pilgrims to understand hajj manasik well. In addition, many activities of hajj pilgrim candidates also affect the effectiveness of hajj manasik performed. The develompment of information and communication technology, has given the influence in various fields, including computer-based method of learning or e-learning. Games is one of information technology products that be loved at this time. Not only among children but also among adults. Fusion game technology and e-learning is expected to help candidates hajj pilgrims and anyone who want to learn hajj manasik.<p>Research was conducted to design hajj manasik medium using role playing game approach. This is expected to bring the feel of the interactive learning and not boring so that hajj pilgrim candidates can learn hajj manasik better. Learning process also not bound by time and place. However it is not easy, many aspects in the design that need to be. <p>In the preparation of thesis is learned the technology that will be used, the concept of the hajj, the concept of learning, and other supporting concepts that are required. Then proceed with the analysis, system design, implementation, and testing the system. Application produced is software of hajj manasik RPG game. User can play a role as hajj pilgrim that will do the hajj. Time, place, and rituals that can be done as the implementation of hajj created indeed. With this application is developed, learning hajj manasik to be more interactive and fun. So that users can understand the hajj manasik better. In addition, this application can also be used as a media presentation by KBIH. text |
