Summary: | WIMAX (worldwide interoperability for microwave access) is a promising broadband wireless access technology. The Performance promising from wimax technology are the high throughput and the wide coverage area. Wimax is a commercial term from wireless communication network technology which have basic from standard IEEE.802.16, where in it’s development known as wimax fixed with standard IEEE 802.16d and wimax mobile with standard IEEE.802.16e.
In standard IEEE 802.16e, using of packet scheduling is not defined on specific scheduling. Scheduling which applied will be depend on provider which need maximum throughput from the wimax network and requirement of the user for quality of sevice (QoS).
According to the concerning above, This thesis tries to make an effort to give a contribution in an scheduling algorithm. The algorithms proposed applied Round Robin (RR) and Weighted Round Robin (WRR) with priority and QoS for service classes of wimax mobile which equipped with simulation that show wimax network performance of scheduling has developed.
