Prior to cope with flood problems it should be done an investigation about the volume of runoff compare to the capacity of existing drainage network in other to have a knowledge about the balance between those two matter.<p>It can be done by using hydrological modelling to analyze flood hydrograph by the help of Geographic Information System (GIS) as a tool in expecting such a kind of spatial information related to this problem. The result indicates that the peak of discharge at several oulet are over capacity. text |
