Summary: | Playable character is an important thing in role playing game (RPG). Playable character is an entity that player-controlled. Player have full authority to control their playable character. However there’s some playable character’s designed to be a semiautonomous character.<p>On this research, will be designed and implemented a playable character which have an effect to make its own decision or also known with term semi-autonomous character. To nature this decision making effect is consist of some states and transits from one to another. To represent its behaviour, known as a state, FSM is used. Player still have a control to Playable character, but this playable character also have its behaviour itself. Playable character is implemented in a manasik hajj theme game whose genre is RPG. To make this playable character looks smart, also applied a path finding algorithm technique, A* and sensor applied here too. Its also need some technique to make the playable character can stand in a line (queue up) in not really crowd environment. |
