Summary: | Methane gas, that contained in the coal seam or commonly defined as Coalbed Methane (CBM), is one of the forms of energy that adsorbed in the coal seam which is potentially as an energy resource. This Coalbed Methane is classified as unconventional gas because the recovery processes are different, which one of the processes, at the beginning of the recovery, is dewatering process that will reduce the reservoir pressure and by all of that processes the profile production is different from the conventional gas. In this paper, the writer analyzes the production profile from the recovery process of the Coalbed Methane with the iterative procedure that G.R. King developed. And with the relative permeability data from certain field and Corey correlation for gas and water, the writer gives the difference between them. |
