Summary:Research on the mechanisms of thermal stability of protein has extensively been carried out to development of basic sciences and practical applications, especially for protein engineering. This subject has been performed through various experimental and computational studies. Some of the results showed that no general rule for the factors of thermal stability in protein. Thermal stability depends on the combination of many factors. Therefore, research to elucidate the factors that maintaines the thermal stability of protein are still carried out.
