This problem has relations with run-off condition in an area and finally affects water supply . One strategy to antisipate the effect of global climate change is adaptation. Knowing total run-off condition in the future is one way for adaptation to support the sustainable development.<p>The result of climate analysis in Bengawan Solo catchment area for 32 years (1971-2002) shows increase trend for temperature and rainfall. Monthly average of temperature has constant value in a year but rainfall has monsoonal pattern. <p>Projection of temperature and rainfall used MAGICC/SCENGEN model based on IPCC scenariO (A2 and B2 scenario) show increase result. Counting result of water balance projection use Thornthwaite method in Bengawan Solo catchment area shows that total run-off will be decrease. On 2010 total run-off is about 384,23-1570,2 mm for A2 scenario and 381,96-1567,4 mm for B2 scenario. On 2050 total run-off for A2 scenario is about 309,98-1493,01 mm and 305,38-1496,12 mm for B2 scenario. On 2100 total run-off is about 138,09-1278,5 mm for A2 scenario and 231,81-1404,51 mm for B2 scenario. Spatially, area with lower value of total run-off is on the lower area wich is the low part of Bengawan Solo catchment area. <br /> text |
