ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF THE HAJJ LEARNING MEDIA WITH 3D CONTENT TO IMPROVE THE ACHIEVEMENT

Effort to accomplished the aim of the nation education which is develop the student's potency is done by improve the education system. The learning process in elementary school particularly in PAI lessons still emphasize the use of the conventional media which is the 2D media. Indication that some portion of the student have a difficulty in understanding the abstract material of the PAI lessons had arise. The aim of this research are develop the desktop based prototype design of the 3D hajj learning media, to understand the influence of the 3D hajj learning media with respect to the student's achievement and to discover the user's response. The 3D hajj learning media is developed using the Neoaxis Engine. Understanding the influence of the 3D hajj learning media with respect to the student's achievement is done by doing experimental research. The sample consist of two classes, control class and experiment class. The student in those two classes were given pre test and post test. The learning process in control class is proceed by using the 2D media learning and the experiment class proceed by using the 3D hajj learning media. The achievement of the student whom learn without the 3D hajj learning media prototype is about 70.33%. The achievement of the student whom learn with the 3D hajj learning media prototype is about 75.5%. <br />
