The confirmation of Constitution No.22/1999 about Region Governance represent the starting points of implementation region autonomy in Indonesia. Nowadays this constitution is revised to become the Constitution No.32/2004, what one of them is arrange the determination and confirmation of regional boundary in sea. To support this, Domestic Minister have released the Rule No.1/2006 (and next is called "The Rule of Domestic Minister") about directive and guidance of region boundary.<p>In this Final Project, done determination of border line region in Selayar regency pursuant to Constitution No.32/2004 (normal baseline use), pursuant to The Rule of Domestic Minister (the combination of normal baseline and straight baseline use) and implementation of UNCLOS 1982 (use of archipelagic baseline).<p>From wide calculation result of Selayar regency with the applying of archipelagic baseline, is got maximum sea wide, 21.083,148 Km² for the sea area and 1.196,782 Km² for the continent area, so that the all of wide area is 22.279,930 Km².
