This multiple access system made user content one to another to get resources, hence resource allocation must be managed by BS. In this final year project, an user algorithm was designed to increase overall system performance in mobile WiMAX system. BS allocates a certain amount of subchannels and power to user. Knowing the channel state information experienced by each user in each subchannel, resources is allocated in priority, which is user who had a good channel gain, will get a first priority to access the subchannels. The common performance measured are system capacity or spectral eficiency, data rate comparation between user’s demand and what user get. With a priority mechanism above, system exploit multiuser diversity. Allocator mechanism will be compare to a random allocation. Using PUSC permutation, and 1024 FFT size, the performance of user allocator algorithm compiled in Matlab®, which is the result show that an increased perfomance from system capacity with increment of user and achieved acceptable datarate comparation. text |
