ANALYSIS OF CEMENT QUANTITY IN RESERVOIR ROCK TO OIL RECOVERY THROUGH IMBIBITION PROCESS WITH NON-IONIC SURFACTANT (LABORATORY STUDY)

Surfactant (surface active agent) is a chemical that can change fluid interface behavior. Surfactant used to reduce interfacial tension. This laboratory studi aim to analyze the effect of cement quantity in artificial core to oil recovery with different surfactant concetrations and additive compotit...

Artificial core represent reservoir rock. This laboratory study used x field oil with 0.8165 gr/ml density. Result obtained as imbibition oil recovery in % pore volume. Cement that form reservoir rock has negative effect on surfactant performace. The greater cement quantity in artificial core the smaller oil recovery obtained from imbibition process with non-ionic surfarctant. text
