Description
Summary:Geomorphology unit in the research area consist of Intrusion Hill Unit that is characterized by very steep hills, Homoclinal Ridge Unit that is characterized by steep hills with a slope to the south in the direction of layer, Karst Unit that is characterized by pepino hills and Alluvial Plains Unit that is characterized by the presence of river terrace with main river flowing from north to south.

In the research area the oldest unit is the Tufaceous Breccia Unit that was deposited in the middle neritic at the beginning of the Early Miocene. This unit is interfingering with Crystal Tuff Unit. At the end of Early Miocene, unconformably overlying the older units is Breccia Unit, which laterally changes into Limestone Unit. Limestone and Breccia Units were deposited in the neritic zone. In the Middle Miocene dacite intrusion occurred, and plagioclase andesite intrusion occured in the Late Miocene. Lithic Tuff Unit was deposited in the Middle Pliocene, and unconformably overlying other older units. Piroxene andesite intrusion occured in the Quaternary and Alluvial Unit which is still being deposited from the Holocene until Resent.
