Summary:Research area is located in the southern Geothermal Field of Wayang Windu. Geographically, Research area is in 107o35’00”-107o40’00”E and 7o10’00”-7o14’30” S, and administratively in Pangalengan, Kabupaten Bandung, West Java. Based on petrography analysis of 40 samples of cutting and 12 samples of core from WW-2, WF-2, WA-3 and WJ, the research area consists of three unofficial lithology units, they are: Andesite Unit, Lithic Tuff Unit, Andesitic Breccia. There are three hydrothermal alteration zones which are formed in the research area, they are: Quartz-Clay Minerals (Kaolinite), Quartz-Chlorite-Calcite±Anhidrite-Clay Minerals (Smectite), Quartz-Chlorite-Calcite±Wairakite-Epidote ±Anhidrite±Prehnite-Clay Minerals (Illite). Based on alteration hydrothermal minerals, temperature of reservoir was between 250 and 320oC with top of reservoir at 1270m. Analyses of water chemistry take from WF-2 and WA-3 indicate that the reservoir now has chloride type water with temperature of 330-340oC. A comparison between petrology and water chemistry analysis, shows that nowadays there is a decrease in the concentration of soluble elements of magnesium (Mg) and calcium (Ca),beside that there is a increase in the concentration of potassium (K) in the reservoir fluid. There are two trend of pH in the reservoir, they are: more acid and more alkaline.
