Description
Summary:Musi Platform that located in South Palembang Sub-Sub Basin, is part of South Sumatra Basin. South Sumatra Basin is know as one basin that rich of hydrocarbon in west part of Indonesia. Burial geohistory analysis is one of method in quantitative basin analysis. The resulted data is sedimentation tectonic parameter which is displayed as burial geohistory reconstruction. Transgressive deposit is formed before 14.8Ma. This is identified from sediment accumulation rate which slower than basin subsidence total rate dan later it changes to regressive. Erosion in 11 and 4.3Ma cause by Bukit Barisan Uplift in tectonic phase of Middle Miocene. The change of sedimentation environtment in 19.6-67.7Ma that deeper to east and 13-11Ma that deeper to north is fluenced by tectonic phase of Late Cretaceous. While in 8.8-5.8Ma that deeper to south east is fluenced by tectonic phase of Middle Miocene.
