The load of an individual transformer are determined from the kWh sales of the distribution transformer. The horizon year load are estimated by dividing all the area into classes with same load density. The future load forecasts are done with regression method and the five year ahead peak load are extrapolated. Load forecast for the area with no load histories are done with vacant area inference (VAI) method. text
