Summary:<p align="justify">Data Center, also known as Computerized Center, is the center of data processing which is supported by data processing hardware and software. The development of Data Center is starting to become a need for some company/organization in a certain scale, in wich the Data Center will support the companies/organizations information system.<p align="justify"><p>Until now there are no standard architecture for building a Data Center. Even a life cycle for Data Center Development is not easy to be found because it has not been define for sure. The Information Technology Consultant Biro, which accept requests for building Data Centers, has it own pattern in the process of planning and managing a Data Center. There is no a standard guideline for planning and managing a Data Center.<p align="justify"><p>These conditions trigger the research on Data Center which will focus on how to build and manage a Data Center, the phases and components within it. The product of this research will be a standard guideline for managing a Data Center. A case study to validate the research is conducted at Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI). KSEI is a central kustodian service and stock exchange finalizer organization at Indonesian Stock Market that has been using a Data Center to support the management of all of their information resources.
