Summary: | Frustated Total Internal Reflection (FTIR) is one of the multi-touch computer interaction. FTIR can be used in many applications that are primarily apalikasi interaction between systems and users in real time. This research, we designed and implemented a software that can detect the coordinates of the center points of touching on the FTIR system. The design and implementation of software programming using C++ language and OpenCV library open source. This research also used several computer vision and image processing algorithms, such as blob detection and background subtraction. By using the background subtraction, the system can detect a changes in images captured by the camera. The experiment results indicated that the program is able to detect and mapping coordinates point of touching. The program can also be operated on multi-touch system very well. Based on the execution time range is between 8ms to 23ms, indicates that system can be able running on simple real-time aplications. System can be detect a touching which have minimum of touching area is 0.8cm2. |
