Based on the well correlation, the research area consists of Lower Talang Akar, Upper Talang Akar, Baturaja, Gumai, Air Benakat, Muara Enim, and Kasai Formation. The structural geology of the research area is represented by seismic cross section through the Panen Utara-1, Ripah-3, Kajen-1, and N Geragai-2 Well. The research area have normal faults that controlled the deposition of sedimentary rocks with several anticlines were formed due to the reactivation of normal faults. Geochemical analyses show that the source rocks come from Lower Talang Akar and Upper Talang Akar Formation, which have positive correlation with oil samples. The source rocks and oil samples composed of a mixture of algae and land plants, but the oil to source rocks correlation is judged to be not too sharp because it is caused by the influence of Jabung Block palaeogeography at the time of source rock <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> deposition in the study area. text |
