Summary: | Delima Field, one of the oil and gas field owned by PERTAMINA, was located at Langkat Subbasin Block. Delima Field was discovered based on result of PERTAMINA’s seismic investigation from Belumai Formation seismic relection. During development stage, several new hidrocarbon reservoirs were discovered outside of Belumai Formation. New reservior in that field was Keutapang Formation, which has sandstone as the reservoir and gas form as the type of hydrocarbon. Further studies on the distribution of Keutapang Formation reservoir is needed to develop Delima Field. The studying of depositional environment was processed in this study, so the lateral distribution and vertical development of the reservoir can be defined. This study uses several datas, such as well log and seismic data as the primary data and Biostratigrafi data, cutting, and earlier company data research as the secondary data. One method which was used in this study was utilization of seismic attribute such as RMS amplitude. Utilization of the RMS amplitude was very helpful to show the lateral distribution and vertical development of Keutapang Formation reservoir. The study interval has facies association such as, berupa tidal sand ridge, tidal distributary channel, tidal flat, distributary mouthbar, was based on analysis of electrofacies data, so depositional environment of Keutapang Formation at Delima Field is tidal dominated delta. RMS amplitude utilization showed that reservoir distribution of Delima field was fine laterally, but decreasing vertically. |
