One of trading contract requirements for gas is its ability to produce with specific rate for specific time (plateau rate). The problem is, in this kind of reservoir the cumulative production is hard to predict and also its rate because the difference between transient period to steady state period takes a long time. Because of that, to quantify gasses that can be produced by this reservoir is tight is not easy. This final project trying to discuss about cumulative production prediction in tight gas reservoir using maximum rate method, so that can be used for defining optimum rate that can be held during plateau rate condition. text |
