Biomolecules may play a significant role in the increase of health. Most of our foods contain this substances. Biomolecules 3-caiotene and cholesterol have been chosen as a study case. Supercritical fluid carbon dioxide is a promising solvent for extraction and crystallization involving non nonvolatile foods and pharmacheuticais, since it is non-toxic, inexpensive, and has a low critical temperature of 31 farenheit C. |
