The Stratigraphy of research area consist of five units from old to young, there are andesite lava unit in Early Miocene, tuff lapilli unit in Early Miocene, basalt lava unit in Early Miocene, limestone unit in Late Miocene to Pliocene, and andesite intrusion in Pliocene, also some uncharted alluvial deposit. Geological structures that were developed in research area consist of strike-slip faults. There are Pematangluhur Right Strike-Slip Fault, Cicengklakan Left Strike-Slip Fault, and Cimenteng Left Strike-Slip Fault.<p>The research area had been hydrothermally altered by weak to total intensity. From megascopic observation, petrography, and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), the alteration zone in research area consist of chlorite-quartz-opaque mineral-chalcedony alteration zone, calcite-chlorite-quartz-siderite alteration zone, and quartz-opaque mineral-chlorite alteration zone. Ore mineral which obsereved are pyrite, galena, sphalerite, and arsenopyrite. Correlation of hydrotermal alteration, mineralization, and cavity filling structure showed that mineralization type in research area is epithermal low sulphidation. text |
