Summary:Geomorphologically, the area is divided into Sirnajaya Homoclinal Ridges, Bunijaya Homoclinal Ridges, and Terrace Plain of Cidadap River. Lithology of study area, divided into 4 units, i.e. Sandstone-Claystone, Sandstone, Tuffaceous Sandstone, and Breccias. All were sedimented in marine environment from volcanic sources at Middle to Late Miocene. Thrust fault of SW-NE direction was invoked this area. At least, there are 5 (five) significant landslides in this area. However, further analysis only taken from Cihurang’s landslide due to its huge influence to civilians. Wetness and slope angle was dominant cause of landslide based on sketch analysis, cross section and field <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> investigations.
