Based on ACI mix design method (American Concrete Institute), it has been founded that the optimum concrete composition is with water cement ratio of 0.30. Experimental results have shown that the effect of percentage of fly ash as substitute for ement are not equal in every type of concrete haracteristics. Optimum content of 15 % of fly - ash has been btained for the characteristics related to trength compressive, splitting, and flexure ). Effect of ly - ash in fresh concrete caused the ix to be ore plastic, but increase in strength become slower ompared with normal concrete under 8 days. text
