Stratigraphy of research area is divided into 5 lithological unit, start from Sandstone Unit deposited in Late Eocene, and then there was an increase in sea level or a decrease in basin, at Late Oligocene – Early Miocene which resulted in deposition of Limestone Unit and Claystone Unit that has interfingering relationship. In Pleistocene Volcanic Breccia Unit was deposited, this unit laid unconformably above the Limestone Unit and Claystone Unit, and then in Pleistocene Tuf-Lapili Unit is deposited unconformably above the Volcanic Breccia Unit. Geological structures that occured in the research area are formed during the Plio-Pleistocene deformation which associated with thrust fault and folds which are teared with strike-slip fault. text |
