Summary:In this final project, the design of the power supply with 30V output voltage and 1000A output current has been described. Power supply is designed to be able to meet the requirements of standard THD’s input current and high power factor. This power supply is intended for industrial applications that require large currents and very small ripple currents. Determination of the number of pulses in the rectifier and the number of phases in the chopper has <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> been proposed. The chopper’s control and filter capacitor rating on the output side of rectifier also have been derived. The system performance is shown through simulation using PSIM program. Simulation results show the power supply design is able to meet the requirements of input and output specification.
