Summary: | The south part of Central Java region including Yogyakarta city and its surroundings area is one of the earthquake disaster gristle area, not less than five times damage earthquake have attach in this area that is year of 1867, 1943, 1981, 2001 and 2006. Occurence of above earthquake have resulted resident panicity and damage of infrastructure and geology. To minimize the risk possibly happened to be needed to do the research and make a map of seismicity microzonation to identify earthquake hazard area.<p>Geographic Information System (GIS) method base on multicriteria decision analysis are used in this research. In multicriteria decision analysis used Simple Additive Weight (SAW) and Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) models and produce two seismicity microzonation maps.<p> Dominant polygon distribution occured at the total score range of 0,21-0,84 and 0,67-0,76 and total score range of 0,12-0,24 and 0,59-0,62 at SAW and AHP respectively. The relation of total score of both multicriteria decision analysis method are linear.
