Stratigraphy of the study area composed by five unofficial lithologies. At Kala Middle Miocene (N9-N12) sandstone unit was deposited in the Middle Neritik environment with offshore bar geometry, then at N13-N14 in the northern part of the study area was deposited in harmony limestone unit on the Mid...

At Kala Middle Miocene (N9-N12) sandstone unit was deposited in the Middle Neritik environment with offshore bar geometry, then at N13-N14 in the northern part of the study area was deposited in harmony limestone unit on the Middle Neritik environment with a platform margin geometry. At the same period in the southern part of the study area was deposited Neritik claystone unit with environment outside Batial on the geometry of the basin. Plio-Pleistocene deformation estimated to occur in areas of study which resulted in the formation of the main structures dextral fault NNW-SSE, and the reverse fault associated with WNW-ESE trending folds which lifted the previous lithologies. This resulted in a change of depositional environment from sea to land. Conglomerate land Unit and alluvial fan systems was not deposited in harmony at the Quarternary period. After that, quite conformably deposited alluvial unit and is still going on until now. Limestones of the study area are grouped into five facies associations, namely Mudstone - Wackestone, Large foraminiferal packstone, Coralline Rudstone - Floatstone, and Coralline Framestone - Bindstone. Based on these facies, the study area was located in the depositional environment of back reef to fore reef. text
