Summary: | In this final project, Computation of Corona loss will be presented with Charge Simulation Technique (CSM) in 3-phase and 1-phase AC transmission. The Charge Simulation Technique will be used by representing the conductor with a set of charges and the ground with a set of mirror charges. The charges value will be obtained by solving the Electrical Field Equation on the Conductor Surface. By
knowing the value of the charges, Electrical Field could be calculated at the surroundings. If the Electrical Field Value exceeds the Onset Electrical Field, there will be positive ion emission for Positive Corona and Negative ion emission for Negative Corona. These Emissions will be also represented by a set of charges. These charges will be pulled in and out from the conductor. The Displacement of
the emission charges will be calculated through the calculation of electrical field by using the Gauss Law for Electric Field. Recombination will be happened when
charges with different polarity meet. With the Displacement Value and Electrical Value, The Corona Loss on each configuration could be calculated. The Result of
