Description
Summary:In oil industry, especially in production engineering, nodal system analysis is one of the most common method for determining optimum production rate. A numerical solution was made in order to make nodal system analysis in wet gas reservoir easier to solve. So it took less time to be solved. The Inflow performance relationship (IPR) correlation was substituted to the Outflow Performance Relationship or so called Tubing Performance Relationship (TPR) correlation to determine the production rate and pressure without drawing any graphic first. The resulting correlation needs production rate as an input data. But, as we know production rate is the variable that we want to solve. So it needs iterative solution. Then we validate the optimum rate we get from this program with an existing commercial software. A sensitivity analysis was done to know the effects of fluid properties and well configuration change. As a result, we know the imitation of the program.
