On this final project, the dimensionless IPR equation for hydraulically fractured gas wells is developed, by using CMG simulator. The single well model has been developed where the fracture geometry is represented in the dimensionless fracture conductivity (FCD). The wide ranges of FCD and permeability ranging from 0.01-15 md are applied to the model; then the IPRs at certain condition are developed. The results show that there are two kind of dimensionless IPR curves for different values of foramtion permeability. On this paper, two dimensionless IPR equations are introduced for hydraulically fractured tight gas formation (the permeability ranging from 0.01-1 md) and conventional dry gas well (the permeability is greater than 1 md). However, these results still need validation to the real field data. text
