From the study have been done using Avoided Cost Method, the conclusion could be drawn is that the development of small scale geothermal power plant will be profitable to change the diesel generating plant, more over if the fuel subsidy is abolished. Due to development of geothermal energy resources for small scale electric power plant has a role in decreasing fuel consumption, the government intervention by further policy are necessary to support development geothermal energy resource, particularly for small scale geothermal power plant to replace diesel generating plant. Some possible policies to support develop small scale geothermal power plant have been done to policy analysis. The result analysis is recommended that the policy intervention should be done in the form of Exploration of Geothermal Field to Develop of Small Scale Geothermal Power Plant is be done by the Government, since this policy will make competitive price of the small scale geothermal power plant. <br /> text
