Summary:This research propose a control technique to improve dc-dc converter performance by using load current feedforward. To eliminate the need of current sensor, load current is estimated based on measured indudor current and output voltage. It is shown by simulated and experimental results the robustness of the converter against load current disturbances is greatly improved. Further analysis it is found that the application of this method has the same effed with increasing of real capacitance filter. The result is useful to improve converter performance in low cost and simple.
