Summary: | Jefta Field located in Bintuni Basin, is one of the oil & gas field operated by PT BP Indonesia. Jefta Field is proven to produce hydrocarbon from Roabiba Sandstone and Kais Limestone reservoir. One of the reservoir is Daram-Waripi Formation, that deposited in deep-marine setting on Paleocene. For the field development, reservoir geometry and properties base on deposition facies, sequence stratigraphic and petrophysics and biostratigraphy marker was conducted to created geometry and reservoir properties model. This research conducted to define sedimentation facies, reservoir geometry and reservoir quality distribution ( volume of shale and reservoir quality ) base on core data, log data, and biostratigraphy marker. Sedimentation facies defined by lithofacies, facies association and architectural facies.There are 10 lithofacies on the core data of RA-1,RA-2,RA-3 dan RA-8 well that consist of Conglomerat (A), Masive Sandstone (B), Massive Calcareous Sandstone (B1), Laminated Sandstone Tb(C), Laminated Sandstone Tb(C), Calcareous Laminated Sandstone (C1) and Sandstone intercalated with Mudstone (<50%) Tbc(D), Sandstone intercalated with Mudstone (>50%)Tbc(D1), Sanstone and Mudstone Bioturbated (E), Debris (F), Grey / Reddish Mudstone (G). From those 10 lithofacies, deliver three facies association : submarine channel, overbank channel, and basin floor fan. From the facies association and log comparison, deliver 4 architecture facies : basin plain,basin floor fan, slope fan complex, and prograding complex. Reservoir geometry and reservoir quality analysis conducted to two reservoir interval that have economical value, compound of facies association submarine channel, basin floor fan and overbank channel. Base on the reservoir quality analysis (volume of shale and effective porosity) on each deposition facies, shows that sandstone that deposited on slope fan complex has a better reservoir qualityr than sandstone that deposited on the basin floor fan. |
