Summary:</i><b>Abstract: <i></b><p align="justify"> The Objective of this research is to build the decision making criteria's sequential in selecting several Indonesian port alternatives are determined to be International Hub Port. The preference of the research are container terminal 15<sup>th</sup> major world international hub port characteristic variables. The approaching methodology used is Principal Component Analysis.<p align="justify"> The result of this analysis indicated there are 6 (six) main components in determining the international hub port with total contributions of 94,969%. In accordance with 6<sup>th</sup> main components have developed 7 (seven) criteria's, matrix evaluation preference and scoring curve preference determining international hub port. The first criteria are container berth capacity; The second criteria are container yard capacity; The third criteria are containerships fleet level of service conditions; The forth criteria are supporting port facilities capacity; The fifth criteria are operational net working coverage; The sixth criteria are operational/working performance of container terminal; The seventh criteria are social-economic country conditions.<p align="justify"> In accordance with "several given variables" above-mentioned 7<sup>th</sup> criteria to deteriming Indonesia international hub port with 5<sup>th</sup> Indonesia port alternative (Tanjung Priok, Balikpapan, Makasar, Bitung and Kupang). The results of this selecting process are :<p align="justify"><ul><li>Decision number one: Bitung port have served East Indonesian Area export-import/ world trade commodities from/to Asian countries, Europe countries, America countries..., etc. with "north link" international trade traffic line; (Total score : 0.545);</li><p align="justify"><li>Decision number two : Kupang port have served Indonesian export-import/ world trade commodities from/to Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, etc. with "south link" international trade traffic line; (total score : 0.148);</li><p align="justify"><li>Decision number three : Singapore port is still effective international hub port to serve West Indonesian Area export-import/world trade commodities from/to Asian countries, Europe countries, America countries..., etc. with "north link" international trade traffic line.</p>
