Description
Summary:Lineament pattern in study area is divided into three main pattern which are west-east direction, northwest-southeast direction, and southwest-northeast direction. These patterns are controlled by lithology and geological structure. Geomorphology of study area is divided into four geomorphological units consist of Complex Hills Unit, Volcanic Hills Unit, Intrution Hill Unit, and Alluvial Plain Unit which based on morphology and geological condition of the unit. Stratigraphy of study area is divided into eight units from oldest to youngest is Claystone-Sandstone A which is dominated by claystone and equivalent to Bantargadung Formation in Middle Miocene. Basalt Intrusion Unit and Andesitic Lava Unit which formed after it. Breccia-Sandstone Unit, Sandstone-Conglomerate Unit, and Claystone-Sandstone B is equivalent to Cantayan Formation in Late Miocene to Pliocene. Geological structure in study area consists of thrust fault and fold in west-east direction, strike-slip fault in northwest-outheast direction, and normal fault in southwestnortheast direction. Thrust fault and fold are formed by compression tectonic in north-south direction and strike-slip fault as the compliment which happened during Plio-Pleistocene. Meanwhile, normal fault is formed by volcanism activity during Pleistocene.
