The river patterns of research area are sub-paralel and trellis that characterized folded area. Geomorphic stage in this area is adult geomorphic stage. Based on field observations and petrographic analysis, there are four unofficial rock units in the study area, the order from older up to younger are : Late Miocene Claystone Unit that deposited in Inner – Middle Neritic, Claystone – Sandstone Unit of Late Miocene – Early Pliocene, which show the transition of depositional environment. Both units are synchronized with the Subang Formation which is also the Late Miocene - Early Pliocene. Both these units are deformed on Pliocene that produced folds with Northeast-Southwest trending. Above both these units are deposited uncomformity Lapilli Tuff Unit which synchronized with Younger Volcanic Products of Late Pleistocene age. Erosion work on all these units, until then deposited uncomformity Alluvial Unit is not aligned on all existing units. text |
