However the streaming has been compressed, it still has big bit rate to be passed on LAN network with limited bandwith. For solving the problem, the algorithm which has good compression than MPEG-2 is selected without reducing the quality of service, that is H.264 standard algorithm. H.264 standard algorithm testing is done in LAN multicast by determining its performance subjectively and objectively. Performance testing for frame rate and resolution of video streaming is done subjectively with determining MOS. Performance testing for bit rate and Deblocking Filter is done objectively with determining PSNR. |
