Research area consists of several sedimentary and volcanic rocks. Based on their characteristic, we can group into six unofficial litostratigraphy units from Miocene- Recent. They are; Sandstone Unit (N7 - N9), Breccia-Sandstone Unit (N10 – N11), Sandstone-Mudstone Unit (N12 – N15), Sandstone-Breccia Unit (N16 – N17), Volcanic Breccia Unit (Pleistocene), and Alluvial Plan Unit. Research area is a part of foreland that influenced by tectonic compression, formed fold-thrust belt. This thrust fault system is classified into leading imbricate fan. Deformation also caused shortening about 35.9 – 40 %. text |
