Generally, research area can be divided in to three geomorphologic units; Folded Mountain Unit, Volcanic Mountain Unit, and Alluvial Plain unit. Research area consists of several sedimentary and volcanic rocks. Based on their characteristic, we can group into six unofficial litostratigraphy units from Miocene- Recent. They are; Sandstone Unit (N7 - N9), Breccia-Sandstone Unit (N10 – N11), Sandstone-Mudstone Unit (N12 – N15), Sandstone-Breccia Unit (N16 – N17), Volcanic Breccia Unit (Pleistocene), and Alluvial Plan Unit. Research area is a part of foreland that influenced by tectonic compression, formed fold-thrust belt. This thrust fault system is classified into leading imbricate fan. Deformation also caused shortening about 35.9 – 40 %. text
