Stratigraphy of the research area has five unofficial litostratigraphy units, from old to young are Andesitic Lava Pyroxene Unit, Laharic Breccia Unit, Lapillistone Unit, Basaltic Lava Unit, and Tuff-lapilli Unit. Product of the Old Slamet includes Andesitic Lava Pyroxene Unit and Laharic Breccia Unit having Pleistocene age, and the Young Slamet product includes Lapillistone Unit, Basaltic Lava Unit, and Tuff-lapilli Unit of Holocene age. Geological structure in the research area contains five structures, such as Watupayung Normal Fault, Depok Normal Fault, Guci Normal Fault, Pekandangan Normal Fault, and Sungai Gung Normal Fault. Based on geochemical and stable isotope of δD and δ18O analysis, it is proved that the hot springs in Mount Slamet are devided into 3, such as Guci Area, Baturaden, and Cipari. Hot springs in the Guci and Baturaden area has Cl-HCO3 water with reservoar temperature of 170-1900C and ~800 meter depth. text
