Stratigraphy of the research area is divided into 5 units, which are from old to young, Pangamunamun Lava, Nagasari Lava, Pagerkandang Lava, Merdada Lava and Dieng Pyroclastic Fall. Geological structures occured in the research area are divided into 2 type of structure i.e. crater and faults. The crater structure is located in Pagerkandang, Merdada and Sikidang and the fault is located in Sileri, Dolok and Kawahsikidang, where all of them are normal faults. Manifestations found in the research area are hot springs, fumarol and mud pools. Chemical analysis carried out on 6 samples from hot springs indicated water type, reservoir and reservoir temperature. Type of hot water from the study area is bicarbonate, sulfate, mixing of sulfate and chloride, and dissolved bicarbonate. The study area has likely 4 different reservoir having temperature of between 225 0C and 290 0C. text
