Description
Summary:Radio frequency spectrum is a limited resource, so the use of these resources must be regulated in some ways. Government institution that has authorized to regulate the spectrum frequency is Directorate General of Post and Telecommunications. One of the usage coverage is the use of frequency spectrum for the implementation of trunking radio network. Currently trunking frequency bands allocated, most still use analog trunking technology, and also was mixed for a variety of other uses. The use of radio frequency allocations for trunking the existing conditions are not optimal and less efficient. Moreover, trunking radio license for private providers, publics, and the other organizers are still mixed. Therefore, need to organized detailed allotment planning and regulations implementation that have a strong foundation in technical terms. Focus to be carried out in this final task is to design frequency allocation for radio trunking particularly in the 400 MHz frequency band. Then, need to plan the technical design of the transmission characteristics within the framework of the implementation of the digital trunking technology among the existing providers. In this final task, the design will also cover the frequency distribution planning in certain areas to determine the capacity that can be served by digital trunking radio using the design of frequency allocation.
