Summary: | The research area is divided into four geomorphological units namely Pyroclastics Ridge Unit, Incision Valley Unit, Ridge of Fault Slope Unit, and Depresional Valley Unit. While stratigraphy of the mapping area consist of four litological unofficial units, from oldest to youngest are Tuff Scoria Unitthat was deposited in the Late Pleistocene of Sunda Mountain, Pyroclastic Breccia Unit that was also deposited at Late Pleistocene but was a product of Old Tangkubanparahu Mountain, Basalt Lava Unit that was deposited in the Late Pleistocene of Old Tangkubanparahu Mountain products, and Tuff Lapili Unit that was deposited in the Holocene of Young Tangkubanparahu Mountain products. Geological structure contained in the research area is the Lembang Fault and the north moves down relative to the south. Infiltration measurements have been carried out by means of a Single Rings Infiltrometers and the observations used fallinghead method. To minimize the influence of vegetation on the infiltration rate, the measurements carried on soil depth of 10 cm. Based on the results of measurements and calculation, found that the slope and litology affects the rate of infiltration. The high value of infiltration related to slope ramps and level of intensive weathering. Whereas litological weathering products in the research area that has the greatest value is basalt. |
