Description
Summary:The objective of this study is to identify sealing rock and DH1 (Direct Hydrocarbon Indicator) phenomena in Lancang Area, Natuna Basin Riau. The methods are Seismic Attributes analysis, Acoustic Impedance, and AVO (Amplitude Versus Offset) response analysis. Seismic Attributes, Acoustic Impedance, and AVO response on KB-IX well characteristics are used as reference for Lancang evaluation. Lancang Area is prognosed has sealing rock as shale. That presence in deep level (below Brown Shale) and shallow level (above Brown Shale). This anomaly is shown by high Reflection Strength, high Perigram, high Perigram x Cosine of Phase, and low Instantaneous Frequency, and low Acoustic Impedance. DHI (Direct Hydrocarbon Indicator) phenomena as flat spot, polarity reversal, and gas chimney effect is interpreted by quick look in reflectivity section, low Perigram x Cosine of Phase, low Instantaneous Frequency, and strong decrease of Acoustic Impedance in the zone, which interpreted as gas accumulation. This prognosis supported by AVO response, which shown as a gas-sand class III anomaly.
