Description
Summary:This study aims to determine the influence of the location of ovitrap addition to the number of eggs of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes and mosquito life cycle model parameters which is used. Mosquito life cycle model in this study refers to the model of Miller [2]. In this study, data Aedes aegypti mosquito eggs obtained by using the ovitrap placed in locations that have been determined. By using regression analysis, data were analyzed mosquito eggs. The results showed that the addition of 1 location ovitrap will have an influence on the number of mosquito eggs in the location of the observation. If these data are applied to the model of Miller [2] found that the addition of the number of mosquito eggs because of the addition of ovitrap will affect the value of the average number of eggs produced by adult mosquitoes in their life cycle and the value of the ratio between the number of male mosquitoes sterile and fertile.
