The fast development of information technology had given direct impacts to medical society. There were many medical equipments using information technology produced. A standard named DICOM was then developed to overcome the potentially data standardization problem. This standard had then encouraged the emergence of many applications, one of them was Conquest DICOM Server, a DICOM-based medical data server. Because it is a data server, the attention to its security level is a need. Therefore, in this final project research, a data access hierarchy is applied to the server.<p>The method used in this final project research was to make a new information model. It was hoped to improve the security level. After the model was completed, it was then implemented into a PHP-based web interface.<p>The result of this final project showed that there were some improvements in Conquest Server security level, especially in medical data access. This is hoped to encourage the development of DICOM standard further into a better standard.
