Summary:Land Subsidence is a phenomenon that occurs in many cities, especially large cities in Indonesia such as Jakarta, Bandung, and Semarang. Land subsidence in Jakarta Basin thought to be caused by over pumping of groundwater, natural consolidation, load of construction and tectonic. This subsidence may also has potentially causes negative impact, such as damage to building, infrastructure, and also may expanded flood area. In this Undergraduated Theses will be focused on impact of land subsidence mapping in Jakarta. The impacts of land subsidence have been identificated, such as crack on buliding, lowering of housetop, indudation, damage on infrastructure, and widen flood area. The affected regions of impact of land subsidence are Penjaringan, Tanjung Priok, Cengkareng, Cakung, Kelapa Gading, Pademangan, and Taman Sari. As based map of impact of land subsidence mapping is made zonation of land subsidence itselfs that has been derived from the result of monitoring using GPS and Leveling from years 2000 till 2011. The result from GPS and Leveling data processingfrom 2000 – 2011 shows that Jakarta has subsidence that values are spatial and temporal between 1 cm – 1,7 m. Land subsidence on Jakarta has been predicted that if caused by natural consolidation and load of construction. The worst land subsidence has been experienced by the regions which have the lowering of the surface of groundwater too, such as Penjaringan, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, and Cakung, East Jakarta. Monitoring of land subsidence and the impact mapping are expected can be used for pumping groundwater controling, controling of flood, environment conservation, and decision for infrastructure development.
