Land cover change can have local, regional, and global hydrologic consequences. Remote sensing data of different temporal and same spatial resolution are used to monitoring effects between land cover changes and water surface area in saguling reservoir. Geographic Information System procedures and image processing techniques were used to evaluate erosion risk, surface runoff, sediment contribution, identify turbidity, land degradation and land cover changes. Universal Soil Loss Equation, rational method. sediment delivery ratio, unsupervised classification, vegetation index and hybrid classification respectively are used to determine the parameter. The effects of land cover change can minimalist with sustainable land management strategic. text |
