Description
Summary:Landscape architectural design demands precision in every measurement, because in each designs must represent the true state of an area if we wanted to build it with great detail. Landscape architect usually design a landscape area in two-dimensional large scale and then use software to create the buildings on the area. This method causes the precision in the landscape can not be ascertained, and therefore we need a method that can facilitate the visualization and landscape orientation with a high level of accuracy. Close range photogrammetry (CRP) provides manufacture of such models with simple non-metric cameras equipment. This method can produce accurate and detailed model with process of marking on objects points of detail in the overlaping photo images with PhotoModeler Scanner software. CRP can be combined with an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) on data acquisition to model the area from the air in order to get landscape area model vertically, then CRP in terrestrial modeling done with more detail of the area horizontally. With integration of UAVs and terrestrial CRP will get a 3D model of the landscape as a whole. After that landscape architects can do more processing to visualize of landscape area as needed on Google SketchUp software.
