Description
Summary:Indonesia is an archipelago, and most of the region is ocean. So it takes a lot of hydrographic surveys for the purposes of navigation, mapping the sea boundary, and marine engineering. Chart datum is a reference depth of field is very important in hydrographic surveys. Defining chart datum can be determined by observation, analysis, and prediction of tidal sea. Analysis and prediction of tidal also require tidal data. In other words, defining the chart datum will be very dependent on tidal data. Good data quality will certainly produce a good chart datum. In this study, there are three stations (Cilacap, Mahalayati, and Sorong) that do not meet the standards of data quality because the data is blank. Other tidal stations (Batam, Sheet, and Tarakan) have the expected data quality. In this case the level of similarity (RMS) between the observed tidal data with tidal data stations predicted results for the third consecutive tidal 0.027m, 0.031m, and 0.027m.
